Have you ever seen a trailer that’s so good and can’t wait to see the film on the big screen or head to the dvd store either buy or rent it? So finally there you are sitting on your couch with your drinks and nibbles, shut off from the noisiness of the world just to watch this film because you saw the trailer was good. Then you realised the movie is going nowhere, bad acting and worst very bad ending.
Well, just recently I saw the trailer for the movie Unthinkable and you guess it I did exactly that. But while the whole movie may not be that bad the ending was and that’s nearly two hours of my life that I won’t be able to get back. Sucks doesn’t it!
This happened to me a lot of times. I love scary films especially when it comes to vampires, ghost and anything based on true stories. I remember when I saw the trailer for Twilight I went and saw the film but left very disappointed! I was deceived and rip off not just time but money as well. I found out from others that it was just another love story with something thrown in on the side and I wish I had known that on the trailer but I guess I was smart enough.
I hate it. When the trailers good the film should be that good as well but nowadays it’s very hard to tell and even though you read different kind of reviews and ask for people’s opinions, sometimes they’re right and sometimes you enjoyed and loved the film despite of what anyone said. It’s a total gamble for whatever price you paid. That’s why I’ve learned to go with my instinct but even that I sometimes fail.
